Texans fans do the Harlem Shake — Texans style

Texans fans of all ages met at Tranquility Park in downtown Houston Sunday afternoon to film a Texans version of the “Harlem Shake,” YouTube’s latest viral video sensation.

Fans dressed in costumes, masks and Texans jerseys appeared ready to show the world why they claim to be the best fans in the NFL.

“This today starts our run to New York City for Super Bowl LI!” the leader of the Battle Red Freaks said into a megaphone as the crowd cheered.

The participants had a blast while dancing to the techno tunes of Baauer and chanting “Houston Texans.”

I was in Indianapolis for the NFL Scouting Combine on Sunday, but it’s nice to see the enthusiasm and spirit of Texans fans continue into the offseason.
