Andre JohnsonTexans wide receiver Andre Johnson made a significant climb up the all-time receptions and receiving yardage charts in his 10th NFL season.

Playing in all 16 games for the first time since 2009, Johnson, 31, ranked sixth in the NFL with 112 catches and second with a career-high 1,598 receiving yards. He now ranks 22nd in NFL history in receptions (818) and 27th in receiving yards (11,254). The six-time Pro Bowler ranked 34th in catches (706) and 39th in yards (9,656) before the season.

This was Johnson’s fourth 100-catch season, tied for second-most in NFL history, and third 1,500-yard season, tied for first in NFL history with Marvin Harrison.

Tracking Andre Johnson on the all-time receiving lists

Andre Johnson vs DetroitEvery week, we’ll track Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson as he climbs the all-time receptions and receiving yardage charts in his 10th NFL season.

Through 13 games this season, Johnson has 82 catches for 1,209 yards. The five-time Pro Bowler is now tied for 25th in NFL history in receptions (788) and ranks 29th in receiving yards (10,865). This is his fifth 80-catch season and sixth 1,000-yard season and his fourth 1,200-yard season in the last five years.

Every week, we’ll track Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson as he climbs the all-time receptions and receiving yardage charts in his 10th NFL season.

Through nine games this season, Johnson has 46 catches for 597 yards. He now ranks 30th in NFL history in receptions (752) and 34th in receiving yards (10,253). The five-time Pro Bowler needs 15 receptions and 1,120 receiving yards to break into the top 25 all-time in both categories.
