Good afternoon, Texans fans!
Today (Thursday), we had our first field rehearsal at Aloha Stadium. The rehearsal lasted about three hours, and it rained nearly the entire time. It was such a surreal and humble time for me. I’ve never cheered in any other stadium or arena, aside from our beloved Reliant Stadium, so it was a change of scenery to have an open stadium with orange seats. I am so proud and honored to be able to stand on the sidelines on Sunday wearing my Texans uniform and representing the great city of Houston.
After rehearsal, our line (AFC Two- we are the tall girls :)) headed over to the Schofield Barracks for NFL Play60. We taught a routine to a great group of young girls and signed lots of autographs. The girls were so excited to meet us, one even burst into tears! We felt like rock stars. :)
We are heading to a team dinner tonight, and I’m looking forward to getting to know my fellow Pro Bowl Cheerleaders even more!
