Andre JohnsonTexans wide receiver Andre Johnson made a significant climb up the all-time receptions and receiving yardage charts in his 10th NFL season.

Playing in all 16 games for the first time since 2009, Johnson, 31, ranked sixth in the NFL with 112 catches and second with a career-high 1,598 receiving yards. He now ranks 22nd in NFL history in receptions (818) and 27th in receiving yards (11,254). The six-time Pro Bowler ranked 34th in catches (706) and 39th in yards (9,656) before the season.

This was Johnson’s fourth 100-catch season, tied for second-most in NFL history, and third 1,500-yard season, tied for first in NFL history with Marvin Harrison.

Note: Johnson averages 5.93 receptions per game in his career, the highest average in NFL history (minimum 500 receptions). This season, he became the second-fastest player in NFL history to reach 800 receptions, doing so in his 137th career game (Week 16 vs. Minnesota). Only Harrison did it faster (131 games).
