First-quarter notes: Texans 7, Bills 0

THE TEXANS
· Scored first for the fourth time this season.
· Led after one quarter for the fifth time this season.
TE OWEN DANIELS
· Extended his streak of consecutive games with a reception to 76 with a 7-yard catch in the first quarter.
· Tied a career high with his fifth touchdown catch of the season on a 39-yard pass from QB Matt Schaub in the first quarter. The touchdown was the 25th of Daniels’ career.
WR ANDRE JOHNSON
· Extended his franchise-record streak of consecutive games with a reception to 90 with a 13-yard catch in the first quarter.
FS SHILOH KEO
· Recovered a short kickoff to begin the game. It was his first career kickoff return.
QB MATT SCHAUB
· Threw his 11th touchdown pass of the season and the 109th of his career when he hit TE Owen Daniels for a 39-yard score in the first quarter.
WR KEVIN WALTER
· Started his 82nd game as a Texan, moving him past DE/OLB Mario Williams for fifth on the franchise’s all-time games started list.
MISCELLANEOUS STATS
· Inactive players for the Texans included G Brandon Brooks, CB Roc Carmichael, T Andrew Gardner, CB Brandon Harris, NT Terrell McClain, RB Ben Tate and G Cody White.
· Captains for the Texans were ILB Tim Dobbins, WR Andre Johnson, QB Matt Schaub and DE Antonio Smith.
· The Texans won the toss and elected to receive.
