Connor Barwin gets Gary Kubiak-inspired haircut

As veteran Texans players reported for training camp on Friday at Reliant Stadium, outside linebacker Connor Barwin showed up with a new ‘do.
Barwin, who gained notoriety in the playoffs last season after CBS posted a graphic of his Cosmo Kramer-like poofy hair, cut it down to a flat top resembling the annual summer haircut of his head coach. He calls it the “Kubs Cut”.
“I got my high-and-tight flat top for training camp,” Barwin told Houston media gathered in a workroom across the hall from the Texans’ locker room. “This is a Gary Kubiak-inspired haircut, so I can’t wait for him to see me.”
The fourth-year linebacker said his new hairstyle will be short-lived.
“The guy was cutting my hair and he literally was like, you look like a completely different person,” Barwin said. “(But) this haircut’s only training camp. Once it grows back up, it’s going back to how it used to be.”
