Six of the last seven players picked 233rd finished last season on an NFL roster. Somewhat surprisingly, seven of the 10 players picked at this slot since 2002 have played in at least one NFL game.
Pearce was cut by the Texans before the start of his rookie season in 2003. He was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers in January 2004 but never appeared in a game.
