Johnson bound for top 10 on Top 100 list

Players 11-20 on NFL Network’s “Top 100 of 2011” list were revealed Sunday night on NFL Network. Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson wasn’t among them.
Which means, barring a major upset, that Johnson will be in the top 10. The final installment of the Top 100 list, which is voted on by players, will air next Sunday on NFL Network at 7 p.m. CT.
How high will Johnson end up in the rankings? Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com thinks he should be fifth. The next-highest ranked wide receiver, Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals, came in at No. 14.
Three other Texans made the Top 100: defensive end Mario Williams (71), fullback Vonta Leach (65) and running back Arian Foster (25).

with all due respect to Andre….I’d much rather be reading an article entitled “Texans Are Playoff Bound”….”Texans Are The New AFC South Champions”…”Texans Win The Super Bowl”

what about Matt Schaub should be on that list as one of the highest ranked QB’s, remember he was ranked the 3rd best QB just two years ago behind Aaron Rodgers and Brett Farve, and don’t forget at the time they were fan favorites, so you guys made a big mistake not putting him on there.

Schaub shouldve made the top 100. He’s definitely better than Romo.

Andre is the best receiver in the game, no doubt!! But he will NEVER get the credit he deserve UNTIL THE TEXANS WIN IN THE REGULAR SEASON & A PLAYOFF GAME.. I hate to see talent wasted, esp. if the player reminds me so much of Jerry Rice as Andre does.

Andre Johnson should easily be in the top 5, I couldn’t name 5 players I would rather have then # 80. My beef is with another player. How is Matt Shaub not listed in the top 100? This guy has thrown for 4k yards or near it the past 3 years since staying healthy. I could easily name 20-40 players on this list who I would take Shaub over for any team. This just baffles me. I don’t see him as a top 20 player, but not even a top 100? What a joke.

Next time we will have more in the Top 100 especially in the defense! Some teams only had 1 player; we had 3 so we’re fairly represented.

@ Fonzi…You mean 4 in the top 100 lol…but ya…shaub IS better than Tony Homo. Some parts of this list I agree with…but also there are names that shouldnt even be on there…LIKE Romo
