Foster, Johnson named Sporting News All-Pro
Posted by on January 12, 2011 – 2:50 pmTexans running back Arian Foster and wide receiver Andre Johnson have been named to the 2010 Sporting News NFL All-Pro Team.
The Texans are the only team with two offensive players on SN’s All-Pro Team, which was selected by a panel of 50 NFL coaches and executives.
Foster also was fifth in voting for the SN’s NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award. He received 10 votes from a panel of 617 NFL players, head coaches and executives. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady won the award with 274 votes, followed by Eagles quarterback Michael Vick (245), Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan (18) and Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers (12).
